| Argyll and Bute Council is involved in a various composting initiatives including:
1) Home composting in partnership with Zero Waste Scotland and The GRAB Trust local community recycling education group.
2) Windrow composting at two of it's Islands recycling facilities.
3) MBT composting with Shanks.
4) PAS100 composting in our Helensburgh and Lomond area of food waste (from kerbside collections )and garden waste (from Helensburgh Recycling Centre).
